Possibly due to a ridiculous amount of Russians among Twitch mods.
Here's a fact to support it: the suggestion to add Ukrainian language has 20k votes, an order of magnitude more than any other on their dedicated submission page, and nothing has been done with it for 3 years.
More than that, the admins "accidentally" closed it in 2019, and had to reopen it in 2021: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/924619-localization/suggestions/14745897-add-ukrainian-language
Again nice to see twitch showing how true there actions are comapre to their words. Again twitch thinks the irasel and palestine stuff is clear cut, but somehow the Ukraine and russia conflict isn't and some "nuances".
