So This Is Where Major Cloog Lives— I Groom MINORS is a catchphrase that originated from the Wizard Ale video edits in January 2024. After animator @Worthikids posted a brief video about a Wizard advertising his Wizard Beer to an unsuspecting visitor, X user @DiamondsChest redubbed the video to humorously express Discord grooming accusations levied against YouTuber Major Cloog. Notably, Major Cloog was supposedly the subject of a Soyjak.Party /Raid/ thread in September 2023.

Origin

According to a Soyjak.Party Wiki, YouTuber Major Cloog was doxxed on the /Raid/ board on September 15th, 2023, with users posting links to Major Cloog's personal information, as well as Discord chat records showing him allegedly grooming minors.^[5] Various X users levied accusations against Major Cloog as well. This claim is often accompanied by a screenshot of a Discord chat showing someone named "Cloog!" supposedly soliciting photos from a minor.^[6][7]

On January 19th, 2024, animator Worthikids took to his YouTube^[1] and X^[2] accounts to post an animation he titled, "Wizard Beer." The video shows a young man encountering a wizard on a mountain, only to be given a presentation on the wizard's homebrewed "Wizard Ale." The video gathered over 1 million views on YouTube and 190,000 likes on X in nine days (seen below).

Worthikids also posted a version of the video with no dialogue and encouraged people to dub over it.^[3] X^[4] user and Twitch streamer @DiamondsChest posted a redubbed video on January 23rd, 2024, gathering over 50,000 likes in five days (seen below).

Spread

On January 24th, 2024, various X users expressed their amusement at @DiamondsChest's edit of the Wizard Ale video, saying that they do not know who Major Cloog is, but believe the grooming accusations due to the sheer comedic value of the Wizard Ale edit.^[8][9][10]

On January 25th, X^[11] user @itsveebtw posted a meme recreating the opening lines of @DiamondsChest's video, gathering over 22,000 likes in four days (seen below, left).

Also on January 25th, X^[12] user @KirbonicPikmin quoted the video saying, "I still think this might be one of the craziest ways anybody has ever been like, mass outed like this. So many people only learned about Major Cloog and the fact he was a groomer because of this fucking video. Like. This is next level shitposting." The post gathered over 22,000 likes in four days (seen below, right).

On January 26th, X^[15] user @TapewrmDynamite posted a meme about the spread of the "I GROOM MINORS" edit, gathering over 15,000 likes in three days (seen below).
