You Took My Only Food. Now I'm Gonna Starve is a catchphrase, image macro, and object labeling meme featuring Patrick Star from the children's cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants. The meme shows a fatter, lumpier Patrick saying that catchphrase while looking angry with chocolate around his mouth. The meme is typically used to joke about corporate greed or poke fun at someone considered overly demanding.

Origin

On May 5th, 2001, episode 27b of SpongeBob SquarePants, "Life Of Crime,"[1] first aired on Nickelodeon. The episode featured a scene where SpongeBob and Patrick decide to eat a chocolate bar each, however, Patrick forgets that he ate his chocolate and accuses SpongeBob of stealing it. The camera then pans from Patrick's chocolate-covered face to his full, lumpy body.

The earliest online instance of this scene is a YouTube video clip[2] from February 8th, 2011 (seen below).
